Silva Bros. Towing

"I recently had the unfortunate experience of using Silva Bro Towing, and I cannot emphasize enough how dissatisfied I am with their services. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. First and foremost, punctuality is clearly not a priority for this company. I had scheduled a pick-up at 3:00 PM, and their representative didn't arrive until nearly 4:00 PM. Throughout this waiting period, their phone lines were unreachable, diverting my calls directly to voicemail. This lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, their pricing is exorbitant. If your vehicle is towed by them, you are expected to shell out $400 for the towing service, even if your vehicle is only moved for a minute. On top of this, an additional $110 per day is charged for storage. This pricing is far from reasonable. Their office, which is essentially a bedroom with no semblance of a professional workspace, is a clear indicator of their lack of professionalism. It left me questioning their legitimacy and competence. Lastly, the demeanor of their staff was beyond disappointing. When I inquired about their pricing structure, as I was unfamiliar with their approach (I had dealt with companies that didn't charge for storage within the first 24 hours), I was met with hostility from a gruff, unhelpful staff member. His disrespectful and dismissive attitude was completely unwarranted. In summary, Silva Bro Towing is the worst towing company I've ever encountered. If you have any other options, I strongly recommend exploring them instead. If, unfortunately, your vehicle is towed by them, make sure to call ahead and confirm their presence at the location before you head there, or you might find yourself wasting at least an hour waiting outside their unprofessional "office.""

"Who likes getting their vehicle towed? (If it is against your will) pretty much no one. My truck got stolen and the SC Sheriff found it. It got towed by Silva Bros. I had to pay $480 out of pocket for the tow and storage, they were courteous, professional and took good care of my truck. I was lucky enough to be able to drive it from their yard with no damages. So, I give them 4 stars for being respectful of my vehicle but also I could not retrieve my truck when the Sheriff called me (it was Sunday) and that added an extra $100 of "storage fees" and I feel is unfair that as a victim of a crime, I have to foot the bill for the tow and on top of that pay an extra day. At least got my vehicle back so it was not such a bad outcome."
