"Matt Shone finally responded to me after I made a poor review about the vehicle I purchased from Serramonte Ford. I bought a Ford Mustang and found out after purchase, that the car takes in a massive amount of water. In the rain and if the car is being washed. After multiple attempts to reach out to Ford, I could not get anyone to respond to me about this issue. And many more issues to be quite Frank. But the water coming in the car being the main one. Matt Shone tells me to bring the car in. He literally tries to convince me the car is not taking in water. Which is ridiculous because clearly if a car is taken in water it is as clear as day. When I went to pick my vehicle up on Saturday February 10th 2024. A service man walks me to my vehicle, we open the door, and the passenger floor is filled with water in the front and back. The service man himself is in such astonishment he immediately takes the video. Both of my children's feet became soaking wet because the water went beyond the souls of their shoes. Not only did it confirm the water leak, the service department did not even attempt to clean the mess up. And then to add insult to injury, removed the lights I asked them to check that illuminate the license plate. Left the area hollow with the connection wiring hanging down almost to the ground. So not only do they remove things I asked them to check. They returned my car in such a terrible State filled with water, and then went on to tell me there was not a leak. Matt Shone has personally told me that there is nothing I can do about this, because there is not an actual leak. Yet they return my car to me filled with water. I have spent so much time and energy just trying to have this major problem repaired, yet Ford tells me it's my problem. Worst customer service of any auto dealership I have ever been to. Not only do they try to convince a customer that a problem does not exist, they return that customer's car full of water."
"Completely inept. You'd expect technicians at the dealer to be competent. But nope. Wasted my time and charged me a bunch of money for stuff I didn't need and didn't fix my car. I don't know who's running things here but these guys need to all be fired."
"The Service Dept at Serramonte Ford went above and beyond in servicing of my vehicle. Service Advisor Pamela Latorella Yaeger, who has helped me on numerous occasions in the past, provided me with her consistent excellent customer service. Due to a communication mixup on my part, the Service Dept went out of their way to make my experience a satisfying one by having my vehicle delivered to my home once the work had been completed. Thank you Serramonte Ford for exceeding my expectations in delivering Five Star customer service!"
"STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Took my car in for a check engine light and an oil change. Asked specifically for the check engine light to be checked out first, and to be called to ok anything before they did any work, instead they do $1200 worth of service on my escape, and then quote me $8000 to fix a turbocharger issue. Mind you with 90000 miles the escape is worth at most $5000 as a trade in. Tried calling multiple times to get my car ready to be picked up so I could get another quote on the issues, and no one answered the phone, finally went down there, was told they couldn’t release my car to me because they didn’t know what had been done to the vehicle. Asked to speak to a manager, no response from the manager. Come back in Monday, and had to argue for them to release my car to me for 30 minutes, while they insisted they couldn’t let me leave without spending the $8000 for their turbocharger fault they claimed. Finally get my car released and take it to 2 other shops, both quoted me less than $3500 to fix my vehicle, and both indicate that the issue is just a valve and not the whole turbocharger. This place tried to overcharge me and forcibly hold my car hostage to get me to pay their overpriced fees, and then to top it off had their service reminder department call me for the last two weeks daily stating I needed to bring my car in for service. This place needs to be reviewed by the better business bureau and Ford should be ashamed to have their brand name attached to this place."
"I was charged for $225 for ineffective repair service in May for my car's clogged windshield wiper fluid system. The clogging problem returned within a few days. I called the service department in the hopes of getting a refund or complimentary repair, since the service I paid for only solved the issue for a few days before it returned. I left a voicemail for my service advisor at that time, and I never received a response. It is extremely difficult to get into contact with anyone at the service department, and no effort was made to follow up after I left a message saying the service was ineffective. I regret leaving a positive review for my service advisor, because he emphasized how important it was to him that I leave a positive review. I wish the customer's satisfaction was the priority, especially since I went out of my way to help him out with a positive review on the day of my service appointment. My one star review here is an accurate reflection of my experience. I essentially spent $225 for nothing. I left a message for Matt Shone this morning and have not yet received a response."
