Reviews of moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Boston Ave)
"Ordered this for delivery and worst buy ever. The cauliflower wings had three pieces of actual cauliflower and the rest was crumbs. A half empty bowl full of crumbs. It’s almost as if I received leftovers of a child’s plate. The cold noodles were sad and were actually hotter than the cauliflower wings. COLD NOODLES were hotter than the cauliflower wings or should I say CRUMBS. The Nutella chia pudding tastes like nothing, no flavor. Just because it’s a delivery order doesn’t mean y’all can’t put your effort to make food the way it should be. I spent close to $40 for this sad meals. 10/10 do not recommend"
"Wanted to like this place because the options seem great and the hours are phenomenal. Ordered for delivery and unfortunately both dishes were half prepared. The purple noodle salad had almost no ingredients it was supposed to. It was essentially the noodles, mixed greens, and cold chicken for $15. It was missing every other ingredient including any sauce, which made it very dry. It's a shame because what was in there was tasty but it was clearly less than half done. I also did a build your own, which was another perplexingly dry salad. And they forgot pineapple and kale. It's like both salads were only half prepared. Underwhelming for how much they cost. May try this place again but would have to be in person to see if it's right."
"Pretty tasty. A new way to get your food. Basically you order online and pick up your food from a counter. The lady at the front said they would text us. Eventually we showed up and it was already there and maybe a bit cold. The gluten free options were great. I think if it were hot I would have liked it more. Having no waiter or staff there was no one really to discuss the food with. That’s a con of this option. Customer service is lost but you don’t have to tip either. Our fried cauliflower was quite tasty. Sweet and salty with a nice crunch. The rest was kinda cold and the bowl was less flavorful. All in all I think I will like it more the second time, now that I understand the concept better. You are not paying for service. Just for food. And that’s ok."
"I ordered moonbowls yesterday and the order was amazing. I ordered again today and even bought an extra bowl for a coworker. I am severely disappointed. There is only one spoon bite of chicken. I also order it with extra sauce and paid for the extra sauce. I doubt I will be ordering again. I don’t do well with disappointment."
"So this place is interesting. I like the concept they have, which is healthy Korean food. I love Korean food, but i rated this place low because the flavors just aren't there for me. I'm a cook and I know it's possible to make something healthy and tasty. I think it was lacking in garlic. From my experience with Korean food it usually carries a nice dose of garlic. But this place disappointed in that sense. This was my first timeand i got it delivered. So give it a try and let me know what you think."
