"I came here 6 years ago and fell in love with the chocolate yodel. Though I was disappointed that the dessert changed to more like a apple pie, it was good, just not what I expected. My server told me that they rotate or change up the yodel. Hopefully next time I'm in San Diego I can get a chocolate one. As far as my meal service and staff was great. The deviled eggs were extremely small but I felt better after eating them because they tasted good. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly in both. My drinks were really good as well as strong. Look forward to coming back next time I'm in San Diego"

"I never write reviews bc I work in restaurants but I felt compelled to share. I went for my birthday dinner last night and was served by Jenny. This was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had, hands down. From entering the doors, we were warmly greeted and the host wished me a happy birthday and asked how my day had been. Jenny was very knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, and had great recommendations. I’m a server myself and always notice the staff and the flow of the restaurant (I can’t help but pay attention to these things) and it’s clear the whole staff works together to ensure smooth service for guests. The support staff was excellent, kept our tables clear, and offered additional waters/beverages. We got to sit right in front of the expo counter and got to see all the beautiful dishes the kitchen had thoughtfully put together. Compliments to the kitchen for everything they made, it was seriously delicious! Thank you all for making my birthday night one to remember!"

"We had absolutely excellent service- our server was warm and entertaining and extremely prompt. The food was delicious but short of excellent- we over ordered intentionally to taste many dishes and found about 70% hit rate. The atmosphere was a little strange- the music didn’t have much of a vibe and despite very cool decorating it was sort of missing a tie through connection."

"Loved this restaurant so much for making my partner's Birthday special and surprising him. From every single dish was prepared with the utmost care and delicate flavors were paired nicely together. If you go the hanger and pesto linguine were delicious. Service was top notch from our server to the host both were fun and helpful with making us feel welcomed. Also the chocolate yodel a must get!"
