"I would have really liked to have given this place 5 stars, however that just wasn’t possible for a few reasons. One being the high prices. We had 2 chicken swarma pitas and 1 bottle of coke and that was $40. The second reason was that the food lacked flavor, I left there disappointed. One positive would be that the pita was actually a health option."

"I would really like to give this restaurant a good review since the staff was so kind, but the food and pricing makes it very difficult to do so. I got the shawarma plate and at time of writing this review it was $25. This plate came with the shawarma meat, fries, and a salad. The shawarma itself was very mediocre, as was the salad. Although, the fries were good. I understand the menu is kosher, and thus the prices are going to have to be a bit higher. However, for me the price is not worth it considering the overall taste/flavor of the food."

"I recently got to try the new Harissa restaurant in the La Jolla JCC. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We didn’t wait long at all to receive our food. The prices are very reasonable. There’s plenty of seating indoors as well as outside on the patio. I had the shawarma plate with French fries. The portions are generous. The fries were the crispy and delicious! Highly recommended!"
