"Don't know much about the resort. But the gas station and store/deli have been closed for some time...the catfishing is good there!"

"I rated this five-star on potential. It has a great dock for gassing up your watercraft or for fishing. Has a little store where you can get gas plus a bigger store where you can order deli items and they have a freezer like the grocery stores and get some coffee. Be nice if they started having breakfasts. I know the locals would really dig into that. But pine dell resort, except for camping or staying, is not open and hasn't been open for a long time. Rumor has it that the owner wants to sell the whole place before he reopens the store. They could cater to the world class fisherman, have some small concerts, they could have events here honoring local police and fire, there's so much that could be done here. But it just sits idle."

"Lots of fish! Lots of rude people lately spoiling the experience. Boat owners with access to the entire lake, opt to fish within casting distance from the dock. People are throwing across others intentionally catching 3 lines at a time. When asked to please throw directly in front of themselves they pretend not to speak or understand English. Formerly clean restrooms now deplorable."

"The staff at Pine Dell is very friendly and helpful. We were in town and caught them while they were closing up. They were kind enough to offer space on the patio for us to hang out and were willing to make sandwiches. We came back the next day for gas and coffee. The gas is affordable, especially considering it is the only station within about a 10 minute drive. They are still stocking their shelves, so they are a little bare, but they are excited to be back in business. Would definitely visit again!"
