Reviews of Ramen Nagi
"Ramen Nagi is some of the best ramen that I have ever had hands down. The lines start forming even before doors open and people will wait despite the line reaching the end of the block. I was able to try the original broth (highly recommend) but would love to try all the other ones in the future if I’m ever able to visit Palo Alto again. Food I had the original broth with default settings for everything else because I wanted to try the “normal” ramen and be able to compare to other ramens. Everything about the dish was amazing though and highly recommend trying your ramen like this as well. Before you enter the restaurant you are given a paper card and marker so that you can choose how you want everything about your ramen. Settings range from saltiness of broth, ramen thickness, garlic levels, and more. Normal saltiness was kind of salty so I might do light next time. The pork chashu was also delicious and super tender. My friend ordered the basil ramen and I would have to say it is unique and reminded me of pesto noodles! Pretty good as well. We got a karaage for the table and the chicken was succulent and crispy on the outside. Atmosphere The restaurant can be a little bit of a tight fit since they maximize the space to accommodate the most number of people. Noise level was not too loud at lunch time. Casual atmosphere though and the lighting was good. Pricing Prices for the ramen was average and very worth it for the price point. I’ve had ramen that was a bit more expensive for not as great flavors or customizable settings of my meal. Service Service was just okay and the staff was nice. I say just okay service since orders are taken at the beginning and they just bring out the food asap like they are trying to move as many people possible. The experience was positive and I did not feel like they were trying to kick me out though. Other There is street parking available but barely any. Lots of other restaurants and shops nearby and heavy pedestrian traffic around. I personally took a ride share option."
"This spot ranks among the finest ramen establishments I’ve visited. The wait was worthwhile, and the karaage chicken is a recommended side dish. We opted for the Spicy King with a spice level of 8, and the 20-30 minute wait is typical as it gets busy rapidly. The service is swift and friendly, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. Make sure to check out this place !!"
"Indulged in the fantastic red ramen, and the spicy, flavorful broth truly takes the culinary experience to new heights. Each slurp is a burst of satisfaction for your taste buds. The KG chicken, though merely okay, redeems itself with its juicy tenderness, making it a decent accompaniment to the star of the show—the red king ramen. Overall, a delightful dining experience that's sure to leave you craving more."
"One of my favorite Ramen place. Must try. It usually take Spice king n spice level 7. Still find not that spicy. Make sure you include waiting time around 30 mins before you get into the restaurant. Not that big restaurant so limited seating space. You will see long waiting time on weekend at least."
