"Good new squeegees and clean squeegee water. No ads."
"The employees here are amazing. Can’t say enough good things about them. Once, even had employee cover me $1 out of his own pocket when I was short"
"It is the only station in town, and those who work there pretty helpful and I like their sense of humor."
"On tuesday, 7-21-09, at 11:15am, I bought a bag of Humboldt's best Beef Jerky along with coffees, breakfast burritos, etc... My wife (4 months pregnant) opened the Beef Jerky as we got back on the Highway 101 South. She stated that it was chewy, and not cured all the way, and could not eat it. I told her no problem, we could bring it back in the afternoon while traveling the highway 101 back North. I stopped back into this Shell in the afternoon. I walked in receipt and jerky in hand, and stated that my wife said it was chewy, and not cured all the way, and we wanted to trade it for another bag of the same type. I even told the employee that she could try the jerky herself. Well, she proceeded to put her fingers into the bag, pull out a piece, and tried it. She then stated that it tasted fine to her, and she couldn't trade it for another. I took it back to the car in disbelief and told my wife that they said it tasted fine and would not swap it for another bag. My wife ask if she had tasted it? I stated she had tasted it, then it struck me, this employee had just put her fingers in this same bag I was returning to the car with to give back to my wife. I went back in the store, told the employee (young, very skinny, very short girl, I did not get her name) that my wife would definitely not eat it after her fingers were in the bag of jerky. She stated that I had told her too... Again, I stated that I have my receipt, and just wanted to trade for another bag, and she again refused. I stated that I felt like I had just been robbed of $5 by the same Shell station I have spent hundreds of dollars buying gas from, and asked for her Manager's name and number, which she wrote down and gave to me. I feel this is totally unprofessional conduct, as well as a totally ridiculous policy, of not being able to return the product for another bag of the same value, after the employee put their hands in it, I had a receipt, and I was dissatisfied with the product and just wanted an exchange."
