"My wife and I love this spot. The food is absolutely amazing, flavorful, and filling. The service is always warm and attentive. If you like a ramen house, this is it!!!"
"I glanced at the menu displayed outside the storefront and my child and I decided to order some Hamburger curry and Gyoza. We attempted to place our order, struggling to communicate through the plexiglass barrier with the counter attendant. Unfortunately, due to the combination of ambient noise and the plexiglass, we couldn't make out what she was saying, making the ordering process quite challenging. The counter attendant appeared frustrated and flipped the menu, revealing stickers over certain menu items, indicating they were unavailable. Feeling a bit flustered, we stepped aside to discuss our options. After deliberating, we selected different items. However, when we tried to place the order again, we faced the same communication barrier with the attendant. In frustration, she slammed her hand on the counter and shouted something, leaving us feeling disheartened. As one of the top google restaurant reviewer who takes reviewing restaurants seriously, I believe in providing unbiased feedback. I generally favor supporting small, family-owned establishments, understanding the difficulties of running a restaurant firsthand. However, it's important to note that individuals with impatience and a short temper may not be suited for the service industry."
"Food was not bad. Price was okay. Service not great. Ordered appetizers, one of them came. No plates given, just put on table and walked away. Then the meals came. Then the other appetizer. So basically, pretty good food with poor service. I had the hamburger curry. Pretty good. With all the amazing options for food in this area, I’ll not likely be back here for a while."
"We were craving ramen, so we decided to try something new by ordering via Postmates. Quite honestly, I didn't even know it was new or existed, but prices were reasonable and the selection was right up our alley in terms of our cravings. Plus, it was available on Postmates for delivery, so the work week wasn't interrupted for a pick up. Our order was pretty simple: Shoyu with extra noodles and Tonkotsu Miso. From order to doorstep, it wasn't long before we got to slurpin'! The bowls were prepped with noodles and toppings while the broth was stored separately. This allowed the noodles to maintain form without getting soggy or bloated from the heat of the soup. So appreciated, but that's where most of our praises end. I had the tonkotsu miso and upon first taste, I thought my broth was a bit more salty than I liked. However, I'm pretty sensitive with salt so I thought it was just my own preference. Although it eventually balanced out with everything else included, I couldn't finish the broth on its own. Plus, the aftermath of my meal left me feeling all levels of weird. Boyfriend's shoyu was good and he said the extra noodles ending up being too much, but we both experienced some level of food poisoning or some adverse reaction after our meal. Both of us were lethargic and thirsty immediately after the meal and into the rest of the day. And then, we had bouts of diarrhea the days following. I'm not sure if it was solely isolated to the ramen, but we'll be keeping our distance for a bit and definitely avoiding during a busy work week. Thank goodness it was a quiet work day for both of us, but didn't expect to be blindsided and put to rest for the day lol"
"Their broth lacks much depth to it, and they use a lot of other bases to cut down on how much they have to put in on top of that. The tonkotsu miso was VERY heavy on the miso, and the tonkotsu black really needed the black garlic oil to help out with flavor. Portion sizes are small too(especially the noodles, which are okay quality. Decent texture and chew), and they don't give many toppings(half an egg, 2 pieces of chashu, and some bean sprouts and seaweed). Gyoza were quite small had had very little flavor or filling."
