"Disappointing. Lives across the street from John Wayne airport. Does a busy lunch business since corporate Irvine buildings in walking distance and who doesn’t need a drink? (Kidding.) The food has zero taste. Zero flavor?! It’s supposed to be Mexican. My east coast great grandmother would ask for more or any spice/flavoring. The salsa is sad, the chicken street tacos were the most tasteless entree in memory. Had two bites and zero offer to remove from bill. Ordered a tortilla soup since still hungry. Stuffed with “toppings” (cheese/tortillas/too little cilantro) but no flavor? Mind blown. Best thing (or the most ingested) was the queso dip. That said, arrives with the most unappetizing layer of oil that took three paper napkins to sop up before edible. The service was mediocre. Christop did drop by but I had to wait forever before he returned for refill of drinks. This is memorable for awful reasons and will not happen again. Assuredly more affordable choices that are actually very delicious."

"After a long time, I tried El Torito and Irvine I used to come here a lot. It was my favorite Mexican food. Unfortunately, today when I came, they were not busy. There was one lady working at the cashier and I don’t know if she was new. It took her a while to give me my takeout as soon as I received it Toke a while and I noticed she didn’t put any salsa. I asked for salsa, and she had to take another Customers to have them see it and then she came to give me my salsa so when I get home and I sat down and open my order, the food was cold. The chips were really old so I said it’s just wanted to try cold. I was really hungry as soon as I ate my burrito the burrito was so gross no flavor very disappointed and I called the restaurant. The manager was talking to me and she’s like oh yeah just come tomorrow. I’ll give you money back really this is how you helping your customer and if you don’t come tomorrow I cannot give you money after that. Very rude. No apologies no nothing, so I’m just gonna go from now on the one that I usually go and then appoint best service best food."

"really good service and food, they able to customize if something not on a menu, prices really good! I ordered fish fajita which came with delicious salmon. chips and salsa are also really tasty and not spicy at all but very flavorful. they don't have Coke product and serve Pepsi drinks, I had lemonade which also wasn't bad at all. this place is spacious inside and has area around bar and then other area away from bar and near windows, so it us family friendly. staff here is also very friendly, which is a big plus, there is plenty of parking outside in a parking lot right outside front door. This place is right outside SNA airport so if have a long turnaround between flights its within walking distance.... my meal total was $27 not including a tip, I will definitely come back here again!!!"
