"What a great find and near home. We've eaten at Our Nest a couple of times and the experience has been great. The food is well prepared with very fresh and generous portions. Service is fast and friendly even when it gets busy. Ambiance is casual and relaxing. I recommend the breakfast nachos and breakfast burritos. Looking forward to the next visit."

"Mediocre food and horrible, discriminatory service - or no service.. Visited recently for a weekday brunch. Place was about half full with customers. There were 2 servers, which was plenty for the number of patrons. Not a single time we were there servers even looked at us. We were just simply ignored and invisible. We felt they just didn't like Asians, as they were very attentive to non- Asian customers at other nearby tables. We really had to make an effort to get a coffee refil. What a weird experience just minutes away from a racially diverse Cal State Fullerton! As for food, it is over-priced at best. An example is their French toast, which looked nothing like the picture shown on its menu. I would definitely stay away from this restaurant!"

The owner, Rudy's grandson, carries forward the family's legacy with the same personable personality traits as his grandfather. He's a talented chef whose dishes keep us coming back for more. His wife is a beacon of hospitality, greeting everyone with a warm smile and ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly. The staff strikes the right balance of attentiveness without being overbearing, ensuring everyone is served promptly. While the food might take a bit, remember, "Good food takes time." "This place has the best avocado toast I've ever had! The avocado was sliced and paired with a bacon relish is what you see in the picture. It was so hard to stop eating when I was full! Coffee was yummy, I love espresso served in a real mug. The eggs were definitely real eggs, the yokes were a beautiful orange color, they came from healthy chickens! 10 out of 10, highly recommend! Staff were friendly and kind. One of the staff got some kind of a call from something wrong that happened and they were so kind and sympathetic and quick to fix the problem to help the customer. They really care. Some might call that the bare minimum but I call it excellent customer service. Everyone makes mistakes, but how do you make it better or amend? That's what speaks the most to character! Love this place!"
