"Please note: (If you see multiple reviews for Evans tire from me, this is my intended submission.) I requested a synthetic oil change, a tire sensor, and a new battery, all with coupons, and I’m military. I got a synthetic oil change, my rear rotors machined, new brakes put on, a new battery and 4 new tires, none are of my choosing, nor was I given any options. *** (I opened my credit card the day before, and mistakenly revealed the limit, which was quickly reached) Read your work order BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING, I was OVERCHARGED for a tire warranty I stated NOT wanting. PROS/CONS: 1 It was very easy to get an appointment. 2 The employees were very welcoming. 3 Read the ENTIRE work order BEFORE YOU GIVE THE OK, or you may get overcharged like I did. 4 The area manager quickly reversed the charges. Be smarter than I was, and ask for options for everything, because now I’m unfortunately skeptical of them all. Never tell them your credit limit either because it will be reached. I wish I could’ve given you all five stars because it started out that way. I believe that greed took over."

"I came here today 2/8/24 and expressed my concern for my tires. Whenever i drive the tire light will come on, and I’ll put air in my tire, it’ll go off and then i drive anything more than 10 minutes my light will come on once again. The guy who helped me was middle aged, white, with a beard. He came out and the first thing he said was “these are bad” i let him know that i just bought tires the end of last year, he ignored and with a bad attitude said, “these aren’t new” i said, well they’re used tires but i just got them. So they should be okay. He then rolls his eyes and walks to the back tires and says, these are 5 years old I can’t do anything for you. Okay. You can’t let me know if it’s a nail in the tire? If it has a leak? If it needs air? Just because your job is to push to sell tires, I understand but I came there to see what was wrong with them. And he refused to let me know because I didn’t buy new tires. Horrible customer service and communication. Don’t come here if you ACTUALLY want answers to the problem of your vehicles. Maybe he needs the tire money for a hair transplant that’s why he’s pushing the sale and not giving any actual answers."

"Avoid at all costs. Purchased multiple lifetime alignment plans years ago. Evans Tire deleted my vehicle's complete service history -- lifetime alignment, camber kit, oil changes, etc -- and refused to honor the plan unless I was able to produce the ten years of paperwork they had deleted. Thanks for cutting me loose, Evans Tire. I won't miss your all-day wait times, stealing my valve stem caps, and constant attempts to jack the bill up. See any of the other alignment shops nearby, but don't ever go here."

"My experience getting 2 tires and windshield wipers today, was the BEST ever. Carlo manager was cheerful and knowledgeable to my situation. Making today's purchase enjoyable and carefree. I will recommend Evans Tire store Lemon Grove to every person in San Diego. So different from my experience at the LA Mesa store. 100% better experience. Thank You!"
