"Stopped here on the way home from Disneyland. Place feels just like home, the owner and I chatted for a while (awesome guy by the way). Our waiter was super friendly and kind to our kids, since it was Valentine’s Day my wife even got a rose from them. If you’re Romanian and miss home, try this place out. All staff spoke Romanian and it was a great experience."
"A group of five had a late dinner. The waiter was wonderful. He provided a platter with a variety of Romanian food (except for the fries lol) for us to sample. It was plenty for us and mouthwatering. Yum! I'll be back."
"Food has some authentic flavors and overall simple dishes with a homemade feel but for the first try, it was strong on salt on everything (the soup, the meats). We even asked for the seasoning is strong on the meat because we’re sharing with a child and the server said, yes it’s ok, but it wasn’t really in the end. Not busy during the week and seemingly not much in demand. There’s something to enjoy for everyone on the menu though and it’s a nice cultural variety for people to try."
"This is the only Romanian restaurant in SoCal. Menu is small but everything was fresh. They don’t have vegan/vegetarian options in their grill hot main entrees. The owner prepared a special plate with some vegetarian appetizers. The eggplant and beans dips were delicious. The bread served is not tasty at all. To eat there was quite expensive especially for the special plate. Instead of making a normal prize for it we paid for each item. We only discovered at the end. The restaurant is decorated with some Romanian clothes and art."
