Einstein Bros. Bagels

"not a friendly place to go. just a squished line of people with little room to move. I have tried to place my order online to save time in the awful line, but you can only order a dozen of the same kind online. If you want to have a dozen mixed and matched, you have to try calling in, usually i have to make several calls before i can talk to a real person to order. Then when i get there, i still have to wait in a long line just to pay. Highly inefficient way to run a business. That must contribute to the extreme high prices. At this point i am actively looking for an alternative place to buy bagels for work. I have noticed there's a lot of complaints about this store and there is always a canned answer to every negative review. Although nothing seems to get done, they always reply to our reviews and say that they want us now to go to their website and tell him how bad they are. We've already explained how bad they are on this site. Management of this store really needs to get their act together!"

"Terrible experience. I reported the manager Isabella. I ordered at 8:53 and came into the store at 10am. I asked the gentlemen if my order was ready, he said they hadn’t made it. The manager then said someone else might have take. It. I asked them if they could prioritize my order since it wasn’t my fault. The manager said she could only refund it or make it. I asked if that’s all she could do and she said “LIKE I SAID, I can only make it or refund it”. What a terrible experience. Unapologetic and no options whatsoever to remedy the situation and make it right."

"This one is for Chula Vista location on East H. Staff is horrible, I got a burnt bagel the other day. The cashier with the long nails always looks annoyed by the customer ordering food. I use to love coming here but not now . Yesterday was the last time I’ll ever go back. Rude customer service, lazy staff, and the food isn’t good anymore. There was one kid that worked here , he was always so happy and excited to see customers, he always made sure to have a smile on his face and make you feel comfortable. I haven’t see him in a while. He should be showing all these other lazy annoyed employees how to do their job."

"Not only the prices are to high for the kind of food you're getting. Just 4 bagels with cream cheese (one without), no drinks $16.00 They didn't taste that good. I've visited this store before and the quality and taste definitely are not there anymore. They didn't look like bagels at all. We ordered spinach (flat bagels, no wholes) that we're super greasy and were just not that great. Also, their next door neighbor came into the store and skipped the line by asking one of the girls behind the counter to make him "the usual", as she jumped into it while we were in line waiting for our turn. That was weird and rude!"

"Its terrible San Diego lacks good bagel spots. This place you are always rushed and the service isn't very good. But now you don't even get what you pay for. Burnt bagel you find out after you get home. Who the hell puts that in a customers order and thinks that's acceptable."
