Tacos La Wera

"Worst place ever ripped off not even real flap skirt steak (carne asada) different cut of the beef they're selling cut it's not even asada but they're charging as if it's steak. To be greedy is a sin God sees all evil"

"The tacos are delicious. I had asada, cachete, labio, and al pastor. All the meats were very flavorful and not greasy. The tortillas were nice and soft they do not cook them with grease. The hot sauces are very delicious the green one is flavorful the red one is habanero super spicy."

"Highly recommended!! Had 5 tacos “Al Pastor” en 1 “Carne asada”. They were really great in flavor and meat felt really fresh. The tortillas are absolutely delicious and also thicker than any other Taqueria in LA. The lady at the counter (Maybe “La Wera” herself) was very nice and polite. The restaurant is clean and restrooms also very clean. I really appreciate that. Sure will come back next time I’m around."

"The service was good because the cashier and cook were nice but the tacos are okay. The tortillas were soft but the meat was dry and too shredded for my liking. The asada meat was also dry and over cooked. The menudo was okay because didn't have much flavor and it had sort of a watered down taste. The tostada de pata was delicious, however it got soggy very fast. The doors were open and it was super hot inside I don't think the AC works, and because the doors were open there was flies inside the restaurant and we kept trying to keep them off our food, not good. The restroom didn't have any paper towels, not enough bathroom tissue, and had no ventilation. I don't think we'll be coming back here, too bad because if they had the AC on or working I'd be willing to give it a second chance to try the torta al vapor."

"I was in the area looking for my hair stylist since I was unable to reach her my phone (found out she had closed her business until further notice). I was hungry and remember eating at this taco place years ago so I decided so visit again. To my surprise they had change business name, owner, menu, and staff but I had already ordered. By this time I was feeling a little uneasy, but continued with my purchase. I was surprised as to how GOOD the food was, the place was clean, they have reasonable prices and most of all the staff was SUPER nice and welcoming (and following states guidelines)They even gave me a free taco!.Needless to say I will return soon for another Carne Asada Burrito!!"
