"I'm a local and a frequent visitor of this location. Food has always been great and the owners never fail to greet me with a smile and a warm attitude. Place is very casual and humble but don't let that throw you off from the food. I've had the opportunity to try out most of the items/meats and was tender and delicious every-time. They have a great variety of meats and lots of vegetarian options as well. Strong recommendation for anyone in the area or visiting! Recommendations: Al pastor nachos Birria quesadilla Pozole"

"Carne Asada Burrito ...Meat to rice celantro onions 10%meat 90% mix.I separated meat from the rice mix and took a pic...SAD. Tasted like they use old grease. Found a piece of plastic in my mouth from who knows what.... Hard to find good Mexican food in Cerritos / Artesia. This was the worst.. i was on my way to a different resturant thats just ok but waaay better than this place. Disappointed."

"The Phở place wasn't filling enough, so I came by at 8:33pm, and had my order taken within 5 minutes. Takes a bit because it's a one-man band at this point, but you know that means it's fresh. We ordered some Al Pastor tacos, shrimp taco, and a pork tamale. All that came out at exactly 8:47pm, still very quick! On top of that, he separated our orders by type, and gave us the right amount of green and red sauce. When I got home, the fragrance of the food just hit you real good. Satisfying!"

"It was so disappointing. The consomé was flavorless. We ordered 8 quesabirria tacos I asked for them to be crunchy and couldn’t eat not one they were falling apart and mushy. Full of just the fatty part of the meat. When I called to let them know how we received our order they were rude and told us to save the food and return it the next day."
