Legend Hot Chicken - Bell Gardens

"The most overpriced hot chicken place in the southeast LA region. The food was mediocre at best not to mention the employees were rude and gave you attitude for asking for extra sauce (I made it clear I understood it was extra and was willing to pay for them). You’re better off going a few blocks west on Florence to the Popeyes and get a better tasting chicken sandwich for cheaper and believe it or not better customer service. This place is the result of poor management and the name “HOT CHICKEN” being used as an excuse to charge over double as any fast food restaurant. Save your time and money and just go to Dave’s hot Chicken or even jack in the box at this point."

"Overall i give this spot a 6/10. The chicken is indeed spicy but its powdery. I’m not saying it needed less seasoning but it’s like if your inhaling while chewing expect to cough your lungs out. I did very much enjoy the fries, tasted very fresh and crispy. The employees here are super helpful and kind. Atmosphere here is very depressing."

"Soda machine has exposed bags of soda and their pumps and none of the sodas are actually carbonated. You are better off getting a can drink from the fridge. There were 2 people eating inside, don't eat inside during summer bc there is no AC or fans. Food is really overpriced for quality and service. I ordered combo 3 and combo 6. Cashier was not made aware that there were no thighs, legs, and wings by the cooks (this was on a Monday at 5:45pm). Cashier came up to us twice because she didn't know what was available on the menu so we asked for a refund. Manager seemed nice and apologized but when we got our order, they didn't give us the fries we ordered and our tenders did not have the flavor we ordered either. This all spoiled our experience and we left and will probably never return. How are you not going to have chicken at a chicken place."

"Ambiance: I came during my lunch break, and there was virtually no one inside. And maybe 2 people the whole time I was there. So it's safe to say it's pretty quiet mid day. Service: They have a ridiculously long menu, more than your typical hot chicken place. But the person behind the counter was so helpful, answering all of my miscellaneous questions about different things on the menu. Food: The meal didn't stand out, I went basic because I figured you couldn't do chicken tenders wrong. Overall, the tenders were decent, fries were average, and I'm sure it's personal preference, but I wanted my toast to be more "toasted" lol. Not a bad meal just wasn't amazing."

"We came the first week when they had recently open the doors, they were delicious. And after a while that we haven't been back we decided to get some again and they didn't disappoint us Chicken crispy and juicy, fries also really crispy they're amazing. Definitely going back. 감사합니다"
