Church's Texas Chicken

"Great customer service and all. Only things is this place is hot inside and workers seem to be feeling the heat badly do to AC not working. No ice for drinks. Owner should be helping the employees out more with needs to work here. I can’t imagine them working 8 hrs in a no AC environment and on top of that with chicken cooking/ovens on"

"I came all the way from South Gate to come get some chicken and biscuits. I ordered my food and came home to find out that they didn’t give any of the biscuits I ordered. I came back with my receipt and they eventually gave me the biscuits I ordered and I was expecting some type of refund or recompensation. After talking to the manager they refused to recompensation in any way and there was no resolution reached. I would not recommend coming here. Also I tried contacting them after their mistake and couldn’t even reached them because their phone number doesn’t even work. Just a horrible experience overall at this restaurant."

"The bathroom was really dirty , the dinning area was dirty. I would understand if it was busy but place was empty. The food was good especially the chicken it was fresh and they made my fries fresh to that was a plus but I like my food to be prepared in a clean spot if not I would of gave u a 4 stars"

"Food was seasoned perfectly! Chicken was cooked fresh and not recooked with that burnt taste! The cashier was the nicest young lady , explaining to the other cashier "please don't address me with "how can I help you lady" it comes off as an attitude.... ma'am or Miss will do. ...Sick, horrible smelling women came in wanting money, yet I opted to buy her a meal, then she begins telling me she doesn't want to sit down to wait, yet continuously begging for money through other customers. SMH staff told her to wait outside, what a mistake..long story short, I ended up with an extra meal.. couldn't find a sole outside in need to feed out all nights! Still love this Churches, reminds me of the original back in the day (70's) off Long Beach Blvd."

"Food is good but staff need new training better staff. Had me waiting 15 minutes inside just to tell me that the their machine isn't taking any card. They couldn't have told me that at the beginning? And they had a bunch of flies or insects flying around so I'm glad I didn't get food at that time."
