"Food is great! My first experience here was 4th of july 2023. I knew they would be busy, so i called hours ahead for my pick up order and when i got there it wasn't ready because my ticket was buried under other orders and was missed. So i had to wait additional time for my food, per why i ordered ahead. Smdh. And my portions was small!! Second time around, i wanted to try chicken but they were out. The guy that took my order seemed like he didnt want to be there, no smile, no greeting, just no customer service skills what so ever. Food came out fast, bigger portions this time. Just dont know why both times bbq sauce was in my greens, i dont like that."

"Ordered their taco Thursday special, BBQ brisket tacos. 3 tacos for ten bucks. These were probably the best tacos I've ever had, easily gourmet tacos. Tacos this delicious, I would expect to pay nearly triple what I paid here. I'm debating ordering more as I type this."

"I cannot recommend the catfish highly enough; simply phenomenal. The best I've had in LA (I've eaten a lot of catfish, too - grew up in the midwest going fishing every week during the summer). Cooked perfectly, cornmeal in the breading, somehow not greasy at all. It was so good we tried to buy more, but they were out (it's only available Friday, Sat and Sun I believe). The fried chicken was also great, as were the collard greens. The stir-fried cabbage was good. The spare ribs were a little overly sauced (though I believe some would appreciate that), so I would recommend getting the sauce on the side or without (they do give that option). Really friendly folks who work there, as well - we felt welcomed. We will definitely be back; great place to eat."

"Food is good and they were quick to prepare. There is parking right in front. The bbq sauce is really good. It has a little spiciness to it bit its not hot at all. And the bbq beans and mac and cheese are good as well. Finally they have good size servings and there is alot of meat. Ill be back to try more of the menu. Update, tried the ribs. So good ND again ots of meat and a good price for the dinner meal. They are so friendly and nice people. So glad we were in the area to stop by today."

"Fast service if call ahead. Good simple food. A few tables inside and 1 on the patio. They have a TV too. Beef ribs are HUGE and fall off the bone."
