"Super excited to find this place so close to my house. I had it delivered. I ordered the lobster sandwich and the BBQ burger. They both looked delicious when I opened the containers. My husband and I shared them both. The lobster sandwich had some great flavor but it was too salty. I could only eat a couple of bites. I read that in advance from previous comments but ordered it anyway because it looked so good in the pictures. But because it seems to be consistently salty I probably wouldn't order it again for that reason. The BBQ burger was good I enjoyed it. I wanted to try the sweet potato pound cake but it wasn't available on delivery. I look forward to trying something else in the future."
"Best damn mushrooms that are supposed to taste like meat I have ever, ever had. The crunch! Fresh everything, Fries on hit, Trap juice was good, sweet potato cake crumble was a lil sweet for me. I had the lobster roll n didn't even eat the bread. On top of that, they got the whole shopping center sewed up with different stores!!! PLANET HEALTH COMPTON!!! I love it, keep doing it, let's be inspired black folks!!!"
"Service- came in town and decided to try something new! We were greeted as soon as we walked in! Once you’re inside you can’t help but look at the art work, it’s amazing. I love how they pay homage to people that are from Cali. There’s a separate juice bar, a clothing store and a retail shop and a lounge area where people can hang out which is all super dope. Food- We ordered the lobster roll, hood nachos, Mac, greens, lasagna and fries and omg everything was delicious!! I could taste the flavor in everything! I was searching for a good spot that had soul food options and they definitely delivered. If you’re vegan or not this place is still good and it’s CLEAN!"
"This place is beautiful and sets a vibe that is much needed in Compton. There is a lot to see, do, and eat so take your time. The artwork on the walls is stunning and you can get lost just looking around and taking pictures. Okay, let's get into it: GOOD: Ambiance, customer service, speedy delivery of food, the Juice Trap juices, the variety of cultural and culinary options. Yes, they do sell shoes and other merchandise, but they also have space for community events. And while shoes may not be vegan, I appreciate their efforts to build a space for real cooperative economics. BAD: The menu is expansive (and not very budget friendly) with plenty of options, but can be a bit deceiving. Almost everything has an actual meat name in the titles, but are mostly variations of fried mushrooms. Do Vegans really need to think they are having lobster? At one point I couldn't tell if some of the protein options were actually meat or not, so a little clarity might help. Especially for folks with allergies. I tried the Cauliflower and Fries. The food was too hot to enjoy for a few minutes and by the time I could eat it, the breading was a bit soggy. I would have liked to also had bigger portions of hot sauce and ketchup. Overall, I liked the visit and will be back with plenty of questions (and money) to try something else."
