"Excellent for happy hour - food items at half off, and they taste pretty good. Wine choices are underwhelming but a good deal for members (20-30% off list price). Tasting event was busy but wines were meh. This location is a bit small, so it feels crowded and noisy. Even tables were so small that there wasn’t enough room for the food! No patio seating as Castro is blocked off - in fact, the neighborhood vibe has seriously degraded. The Los Gatos location is much more attractive and spacious (outdoor seating)."

"Wow! Chris what a nice experience. In town from DC and the Seattle area we randomly stopped in for a bite before heading to the airport. Time was a bit of a crunch. Chris your were kind, hospitable and really went out of your way in the most gracious manner. (Owners and manager note). You guided us in wine selections even brought a comparison without our even asking. You offered help when we asked, about our food choice. Though our time was limited it felt relaxing and enjoyable. And the food and wine selections were on point. Everything came out timely and the flavors were outstanding. We had a mushroom and pesto flatbread that was full of flavor, balanced not a garlic bomb. We enjoyed the Caprese Salad and the Beets and Arugula salad as well. Again full of flavor! Next time we are in town, we'll be back. For anyone out there reading, go here! It is lovely. !
