"SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS & HAVE A GREAT SHOE-FITTING EXPERIENCE! Liz was AWESOME! We spent over an hour finding character shoes, ballet, and half ballet shoes that fit me well. I'm usually an 8.5 with a slender foot but discovered with Liz's help, that I'm a 9W in character shoes! I would never have thought that. Before coming to A1, I quickly bought shoes online I needed for an audition and, go figure, they didn't fit. Not only did they not fit, but the quality was not good. Liz gets her shoes DIRECTLY from the source, and SPECIFICALLY ordered me the EXACT shoe I needed: black, t-strap, 2 inch heel, 9W. I can try on the shoes without the expectation to purchase, how awesome! NOTE: You can ONLY EXCHANGE shoes here that DO NOT look worn. This is totally fair, and, Liz will ensure you get the right shoe for you so you don't have to deal with returning online orders like I did."

"Went in to try ballet and tap shoes for my daughter a couple of weeks ago. They didn't have her size and tried to offer her shoes she didn't like. Then forced us to try on the leotard which was obviously too big for her. When we were about to leave they said they charge a fitting fee if you do not buy anything. Then quickly changed their mind. What a misery! Never heard anything more stupid than this!"

"Went to take a look at some tap shoes for my daughter. This lady who greeted me seemed very enthusiastic but in a fake kind of way. I don't know what all these good reviews are talking about but they all seem false. She kept asking questions and forced us to try a shoe which we didn't even need. After that she charged us 10$ for a "fitting fee" which is ridiculous. Never come here if you don't plan on buying anything. The customer service is horrible and useless."
