"My 8 yo son and I came to this store on the last day of our vacation from Australia . Using his spending money from his mum , my son bought a pair of Vans ankle high boots and to spend the remaining $10 he bought a small keychain which was on offer at the front checkout. Upon leaving the store we realised that he had not picked up the chain from the counter so , 10 minutes later we returned . We spoke with the checkout girl who abruptly informed us that she had "100% watched your son pick up the bag it was in and walk out of the shop." I asked her to run the tapes and watch the footage as we were 100% sure we did not take the item but we had defineately paid for it . She refused point blank and we left having spent the money but not received the goods . If this is the way Vans treat their customers I will be going elsewhere for my children's skating gear in future .Disgraceful."
