Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

"Visited on Valentine's Day the thousand oaks location. There was a bit of wait but once seated the service was great. The food options were good however the servers didn't stop by with the churasco cuts as often and were repetitive. I recommend it on a regular night but probably not again on Valentine's Day"

"Fogo de Chão is a new Brazilian steak house that inhabits what was once P.F. Chang's. The space is clean and large and is extremely spacious. You can get single dishes, but the best experience is As my friend calls it, "meats around the world". Where you get a rotating sample of the various meats, plus access to the market table and soup bar. The market table is an assortment of dried meats, cheeses, fruits, and salads of a South Brazilian style. This alone can fill you up quite easily, but save room for the meats that come circulating throughout the restaurant once your placard is turned to green. The food is good and ample, and the servers will continuously come to your table, offering more meat as long as your placard is placed to green. Some styles of meat make a more regular appearance than others, so if there is anything specific you wish to try and haven't seen yet, feel free to ask. Bring an empty belly and hearty appetite, and if you go during lunchtime, you'll save yourself a few dollars here or there. Enjoy!"

"Amazing experience, fantastic food. The service was top notch with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The lamb might have been my favorite meat, but it was all wonderful. George was our server and he took care of us. I went with my son and his family as well as my wife and daughter. We all walked out of the edge of overstuffed and happy. The acacia cheesecake was the favorite dessert."

"While the food of course is great and the atmosphere was good. The service was absolutely awful from the moment you walk in. The staff is so overwhelmed the hostesses have no idea they have their back turned to the guests. There's no greeting there's nowhere to stand and once finally seated even with a reservation. You are mostly ignored throughout your entire meal because they are so completely overwhelmed that we never even got water refilled. It was overall not worth what the price you pay."

"Just opened in Thousand Oaks and the place was slammed, Saturday at 5 pm...what pending recession? Serving staff was awesome...friendly and efficient, food was delicious and parking is close. We went for the full Brazilian Experience for $69. Located at the Lakes in the old P F. Changs location...the establishment has a ton of outdoor seating and a warming fireplace to greet diners. I especially like drinks "happy hour" all day, every day. The Jorge's Sour, with Woodford Reserve Bourbon was amazing."
