"They try to trick you with the pricing. What’s the point in having a super burrito but then charging extra for guac and sour cream… it’s a rip off. Especially since the person making the super burrito asks if you want guac and sour cream but doesn’t clarify it’s extra. They need a sign telling people guac and sour cream are extra for the super burrito but of course they won’t do that because they are trying to scam. Besides that the burrito itself is honestly mid and not particularly impressive. This place is overhyped, just go to El Farolito. The super burrito there is like $9 with EVERYTHING (including guac and sour cream) instead of $12 + $3 for guac and sour cream so $15 super burrito at Gordos that doesn’t even taste that great."

"Gordo makes an OK super burrito. My steak super steak burrito is $10.35 + guacamole $1.50 + sour cream $.95 = $12.80. Most taquerias will include guacamole and sour cream on their super burritos but not Gordo. The only differences between a regular burrito and a super burrito here are the size of the tortilla and cheese. Chips and salsa are extra at $2.50. I had a hard time ordering as line chef was mumbling incoherent phases to me. They could benefit from an ipad ordering system with this guy. I never had issues at their other locations on Clement st. and on Geary. Service is abysmal at this location."

"Eaten here numerous times. One of the best for Mexican cuisine in the Sunset. Close walk to Golden Gate Park. The taco’s are my favorite and they’re not expensive. But then again who doesn’t like tacos."

"This place is so good! Open during the pandemic for to go orders (June 2021). I had the chilli Verde. The guacamole is superb at this place. We got 1 pint of guacamole. I would go back to this place especially because the staff was super nice and friendly."

"If you need cheap eats near golden gate Park, this may be the spot for you. They have pretty good prices. Go up to the line cook counter and order what you'd like. If you're dairy free make sure you specify right away or you'll get cheese on your items. Good standard chips."
