"Sage went above and beyond to help me with my bike repair. I am currently on a bike tour down the Pacific coast, and my derailleur snapped, got caught in the wheel of my bike, and died a sad death. I was really stressed about this, and was frankly worried that I wouldn’t be able to continue my tour. I was SO LUCKY that Moon Cycles was open on a Sunday, and that Sage was able to help me! Even though they didn’t have an 11-speed derailleur in stock at the moment, Sage performed an actual miracle and managed to make a different bike derailleur work for me. She saved my trip! And she even handled my bike’s tricky internal cable routing, and helped me adjust my front derailleur. I cannot recommend this fantastic bike shop and their awesome mechanics more!! I bought a bike online and it ended up having many things wrong with it (bent front chain ring, bent derailleur, chain too long, etc.) She was able to fix all of it and get my brand new bike working how I thought it would have out the box! Taking it to Moon Cycles saved me the headache of returning the bike and the peace of mind I needed to ride it. I paid a reasonable price for a great tune up and Sage was eager to help me understand how bike mechanisms worked too, which I really appreciated (she’s very knowledgeable in her craft).
