"This spot has a charming vibe, especially for larger gatherings and weekend hangouts. Our routine usually involves swinging by for a late lunch or early dinner, where we drink and dine by the fire for 3-4 hours. Now, about the service team – they can come off a tad snooty, and their policies, like the fixed menu for parties of eight or more, can feel a bit rigid (more than a bit, its terrible) But, there's something about that wood grill that adds a cozy, countryside feel to the whole affair. The grilled dishes generally hit the spot, though I must admit, their pasta dishes left me wanting more. As for starters, the Beef Carpaccio and Burrata, which usually steal the show for me, weren't as impressive as I hoped. However, the Rib Eye and Tomahawk steaks are definitely winners. And let's not forget the Sourdough Bread with butter – it's a real treat. In my book, the appetizers and desserts steal the spotlight from the main courses. So, if you're famished and craving top-notch Italian cuisine, you might want to look elsewhere. But the coffee is exceptional, and the bar serves up some fantastic cocktails and premium liqueurs. So, there's that to look forward to!"
"We had a great time once we found the restaurant! Take the elevator located in Macy’s to the top floor or climb a bunch of stairs in Eataly! We were given the option of outside or inside. It was very cold Saturday night, we opted for inside. We ordered stilled water and a Strawberry/thyme Mocktail. It was not sweet. We ordered the grilled sourdough bread with buffalo butter . A5 Wagu skewer appetizers. Followed with pasta and lobster for my husband and I had a whole branzino ( I had the head and tail removed before it was served) with grilled carrots, roasted potatoes and a separate order of pasta Pomodoro after I saw someone else’s plate! For dessert: Gelato table side and tiramisu (the presentation alone made it worth dining). No gelato picture my husband did not share! The food was delicious and expensive and worth a second visit . We did have to use our phones to see the menu. The patio had better lighting (brighter) then the dining room."
"Went around 7pm on 11/26. Pasta was average but drinks and desserts were pretty good. Hosts didn’t let our two groups sit together when there were empty tables? The waitress barely checked in on our tables. Spent around $1000 and it was a bit pricey for the service. Ambiance was nice!"
"April 2023 We had reservations for four but arrived early. While we waited we sat at the bar and discussed dinner out bartender Cheyn was great. She was super knowledgeable and friendly. Cocktails were fabulous! By the time our table was ready we already knew which way to go with dinner. Once seated our server was busy for a while and didn’t get to us for about 10-15 minutes. Afterwards we enjoyed our sourdough boule, entree pastas and grilled peas as well as a bottle of Barolo. Delicious! We will be back! Recommend reservations and entering the parking deck on avenue of the stars. The market is on 3rd floor and an elevator to the restaurant is all the way in the back of the wine shop in the market. Restaurant is on 5th floor. Update November 2023 We went for lunch here and while the location is special both the food and service were lacking. We were half way thru the meal and our server came back offering condiments for our dishes. The dishes lacked flavor at least one was room temp. I like shopping at Eataly but would only go back to Terra for drinks. Urban Cowgill 2023"
"The food is creative and excellent. There is a lot to choose from. The atmosphere is just perfect, if you are not in the sun, but to go have a drink and something to snack on in the bar as the sun is setting and hang out on a warm evening is just awesome. The only drawback is the place is very busy and the service was not what I would have expected for a place so nice. Our water glasses were frequently empty, plates were not cleared, even when the check came, and it was not communicated well what was going on with our food as it was slightly delayed. Overall, it may just have been that they were so busy and it is hard to hire people, so I would definitely go back and give it another try since the food was so good."
