As the name suggests, this retail chain offers discounted clothing and shoes for both adults and kids, along with a selection of home decor items. Last month I came to this store to buy some stuff. Like many other stores in the area, cleanliness seemed to be an issue. The floor appeared dirty and partially wet, and clothes were haphazardly strewn about. It was evident that some shoppers lacked the responsibility to return items to their proper places. Moreover, I observed a security personnel stationed at the entrance, indicating that the management is aware of the incidents that often occur in this area involving homeless individuals. Despite these negative aspects, I found dd's DISCOUNTS to be quite satisfactory overall. It is undoubtedly one of the best places in the area to find the latest fashion trends for women, men, and even home decor, all at discounted prices ranging from 20% to 70% off department store prices. While dd's may not offer the extensive variety found in other chains like Target, Costco, or Walmart, it certainly excels in providing affordable clothing, shoes, and home decor options. The staff at dd's DISCOUNTS were cooperative and helpful during my visit. Although the store may not have an extensive collection of products, the reasonable prices make up for it. If you are looking for a budget-friendly shopping experience without compromising on style, dd's DISCOUNTS is definitely worth a visit."
"I visited DD's Discount Store, and while the store itself had some good deals, I can't ignore the fact that it's located in a rough area. The constant presence of people begging for money outside the store made me uncomfortable during my visit. While the store's offerings are decent, the surrounding environment can be off-putting."
"The place itself is a treasure chest of really awesome things and great prices to boot!! The reason I gave it three stars is because of the wait in line to be checked out got longer and longer and they only had one cashier checking people out, and two people just standing around looking at us. The Loss Prevention guy I can understand not hopping on a register. The lady just standing around, not doing anything, that was annoying. You have customers, you get on a register and you check them out. That's just customer service."
