"A must stop on any SF trip. One of the only true old time places left. Nobody does oysters like them! And their drinks are not watered down. A real martini!"
"Loved the atmosphere of historical landmark. We went a party of 5 people, we ordered a lot of food and shared to try all dishes. Food was good, but we enjoyed more the old fashion atmosphere. Service was right on the time, drinks were little bit late."
"I understand the hype behind this restaurant due to its history but the food was just okay. Tadich grill has been in my to go list for a while and I finally got to visit yesterday. Sadly it did not meet my expectations. Overall the atmosphere is great and service is great but the food itself was not good. We started the meal with COLD bread which was a bit hard. The clam chowder was just okay and the seafood was a bit better but not amazing. I was able to experience the restaurant but I won’t be coming back."
"Being an historical landmark, I’m sure many tourists like myself frequent this restaurant, but I have to say that it did not disappoint. Food was excellent as was the service. The waiter was perfect in his timing and everything was choreographed to perfection. Our dinner was the highlight of a quick trip to the city. It was the real deal!"
"Excellent tasty food. The seafood stew was a highlight! We dipped the bread slices into the stew and it was heaven. The seafood pasta was also wonderfully cooked and savory. I would go back for the seafood pasta and the stew. The rice pudding was delicious. I would save some room for the rice pudding next time as it is unexpectedly flavorful with soft texture. The server and bar was quite busy for sat night and drink for my friend took a long time. This is a popular place and has lots of history. Atmosphere was quite loud and tight space. Good for friends and family gatherings but might not be ideal for first time meeting someone."
