"Adorable little place with HUGE personality. The dishes were amazingly authentic, absolutely delicious, and very fairly priced. Get there early. They were busy, even on a Tuesday."
"This is the best Thai food both my fiancé and I have ever had and we love Thai food! We can’t get enough of the pad see ew we literally dream of it. We live in San Diego and every time we drive near Irvine we have to stop. The service is always phenomenal, quick and we have zero complaints. We’re so happy to see this place always busy and even with the waitlist we are sat and eating within 10 minutes."
"The best Thai street food this far east from Chao Praya. Standard Thai staples are to die for, but their Khao Soi wins the race. Reasonably priced, this little establishment makes the best mango sticky rice in the OC. Wholeheartedly recommended by a biased regular!"
"I stumbled upon Siam Station Thai Food when my Thai food cravings were hitting me hard. It's definitely a hidden gem, tucked away in a corner of the city. I decided to give it a shot, but let's just say my taste buds took an unexpected detour. First up, the Green Curry with Rice. It promised to be a flavorful concoction of green curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoots, basil leaves, and fresh chilies. Oh, and we added chicken to spice things up. Tom Yum Soup was hot and sour soup with lemongrass-kaffir lime broth—sounds exciting, right? Well, it was hot, alright. So hot that I could feel beads of sweat forming on my forehead as I took the first sip. The chicken satay grilled chicken served with house peanut sauce and cucumber relish. The chicken itself was decent, but the peanut sauce was a game of hide and seek. I wanted to try something different the deep-fried tofu with sweet sauce. Now, I have to give credit where credit is due. The tofu was actually crisp and fried to perfection. But the sweet sauce... let's just say it was a little too sweet. It's not the place I'd rush to for my Thai food fix. But hey, maybe they were having an off day in the kitchen. Or maybe my taste buds were feeling extra adventurous that day. Either way, it was an experience I won't be forgetting anytime soon. I'll keep searching for that perfect Thai food spot, but until then, Siam Station and I will remain just good friends... with benefits for my taste buds."
"My friends wanted to check this out because we were in the area. Haven't had Thai food in awhile so I was down to check it out. Shared the Jungle Papaya (Laos Style) - Fresh papaya, tomato, green bean, Thai eggplant, dried shrimp, fermented fish sauce, and salty crab Tom Yum Fried Rice - flavors of lemon grass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, fresh Thai chilies, fresh lime juice, mushroom, tomatoes, we added prawns Pad Thai - Stir fried thin rice noodles with egg, bean sprout, green onion, homemade sauce topped with roasted peanuts, we added chicken Green Curry with Rice - green curry paste in coconut milk, bamboo shoot, basil leaves, fresh chilies, we added chicken Khao Soi - yellow curry broth with egg noodles served with red onions, lime, and pickles, we added prawns For the drink I got thai tea because you got to try the thai tea with your thai cuisine right? Very milky and sweet. Just a touch too sweet for me but definitely tastes like your ordinary thai iced. Every dish is delicious. You can adjust the spicy level for any of them. The Jungle Papaya is not for the faint of heart. This is strong in smell but also strong in flavor! I haven't seen many places that offer this version with the salty crab. Bomb!!! The tom yum fried rice was so good! Lots of flavor and the prawns were jumbo sized! The pad thai is one of the best flavorings that I have had in awhile. You get the hint of sweet, the citrus, the tang. I loved this dish! For some reason the green curry was almost there in flavor? It needed a touch more spice to it or salt. It had the sweetness to it. But we mixed the khao soi with the green curry and the flavor was absolutely amazing! Felt like we made the broth even better! You get the salty, the sweet, and the spicy? Yes and Yes! The khao soi was different! You get fried egg noodles IN soup?!!?! say whhhhhuuuut?! Looks pretty and tastes just as good. Different textures and lots of flavor. And who can forget... DESSERT?! Mango sticky rice all the way! Smells good and tastes just as good! The vibrancy in colors and the creamy coconut milk with a touch of salt. It was sweet and the mangos were ripe. Perfect way to end the meal. Service was great but the restaurant is tiny. We did outside seating and it was hard with 6 people to one table because we ordered so many dishes. But it gives it a more intimate feel being close with your friends while enjoying your meal. So if you have a lot of people, there will be a wait!"
