Reviews
"This is such a great neighborhood brewery. Great beer, friendly employees and patrons. Dog friendly! Pretty much always have a food truck on site, too."
"I love Thorn, I've always loved Thorn. It's a great location, close to my house. The staff is awesome, the food trucks outside have always been amazing, the beer is awesome. Nothing to not like and one ofy favorites in SD. Tacos courtesy of Atesano Tacos (also amazing)!"
"We had a delightful time this afternoon at Thorn Street brewery. In South Park San Diego. I had a flight of the hazy, relay, Hoppy IPA and the Porter. He had a pint of lager. They require that you purchase a five dollar food truck coupon for each person. Which I understand because of COVID-19. I was pleasantly surprised by the IPAs. They were very smooth and drinkable, yet interestingly as the time went on and the beer got warmer, the IPA became more hoppy. I love their outdoor space and what they’ve done with the place since the last time I was there two years ago. The bartender was attentive, helpful and sanitized the tables before we sat down. I will be reviewing the noodle food truck in another review. The food was great."
"Went here for a Girl Scout cookies and beer tasting. . . It was amazing. This is just a nice community bar, the beer is good and the people are awesome. If you want a nice spot to chill and kick back this is it. Plus they normally have a food truck outside and it is dog friendly. You are allowed to bring food in too. So the food truck, the bbq spot and the pizza place are all fair game."
