"I know it's also a restaurant (that looks and sounds like a bar), so pricier than the surrounding bars, BUT $24.00 for two Well cocktails is obscene. $7.00 across and down the street for the same thing"
"Good lunch vibe. The server was friendly and the staff kept checking on us making sure our drinks were full. They offered multiple times to refill our drinks. The restaurant is painted all in black with black subway tiles halfway up the wall. Our drink order was taken promptly after we sat down. The food order was taken as our drinks were served. The meal came out all together at the same time. The sandwiches/burgers are large and have good flavor. Their French fries are very good as they seem to be homemade. The side salad leaves something to be desired. Diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers and small chopped lettuce. Overall a good place to stop in. They had a good music selection playing when we came in. Just a good all around vibe."
"Had a late lunch here midweek. Service was great, the waiter was cute, and the food was good. Just wings and fries, but you’d be surprised at how many places can screw those up. Beer on tap options are limited, but there are a couple of good local craft brews on the list. Came back later in the week for cocktails and again very excellent service (although somewhat weak typical gay bar cocktails)."
"We love coming here! The food is actually very good for bar food. Great for drinks also. Close to all of the gay bars. Busy on weekends. No reservations, first come first serve. They do have tables that can seat larger parties. Love the indoor-outdoor vibe and music played here. Great for people watching. A few times we’ve come the service has been less than stellar but we come back for the food. Our favs: black book salad, chicken sandwich, burger, tacos, and chicken sandwich. Fries are also very good!"
"A nice little pregame bar in The Arena (Gay District) area. Drinks were good, but a little pricey. Food was yummy. Service was great, waiters a bartenders were on top of it. If you want to sit, talk, and get away from all the noise, this is a good place for that if you sit inside. However, they do have outdoor seating in the front if you want to see all the action, too!"
