"I was told about this place but I always went down to another bar down the street . But this time around I stopped in and meet a friend. But I was amazed spacious it was inside. They have a dance floor with bands. Pool table. Dart boards. Add a shuffleboard. You don't see many of those around. The bartender was excellent. Great service. Even had a puppy Murphy Pizza they cooked up their great. If I didn't live too far away I would be there pretty much every night. Great atmosphere. If you happen to be in the area stop by say hello very friendly people I recommend this place to everybody"

"I absolutely love this bar and find myself there just about every Thursday for line dancing and sometimes on Fridays for swing dancing. Everyone here is super friendly and caring and always willing to help someone like myself learn a new dance or move. Sarah the dance instructor is amazing! She is super friendly and a genuine human who’s very inclusive regardless of your dance level. She’s a great teacher and I have loved learning new moves and dances from her. The only reason I gave Jan’s 4 stars instead of 5 is that when a lot of people are dancing the bar gets sooooo hot. They could benefit from getting 2 industrial fans to keep the bar from getting too hot or smelly from everyone moving around."

"I hardly noticed this place driving by. I heard they do line dancing classes on Thursdays (and also swing dancing classes on Fridays), so I checked it out. It's a nice little bar. I like the layout where the tables/chairs are on the perimeter. The dance floor is a decent size. The drinks were perfect. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The customers were super nice and lively. I thought Sarah did a great job teaching, and I enjoyed the class. I'll have to come back and try the food so I can update my review."

"Jans Lounge is back, apparently under new ownership. The front face of its outside doesn't reveal how cozy it is inside. Huge dancefloor and raised stage for their regular scheduled local bands, and the music we heard was outstanding. Rather good looking bar. Everyone was commenting about the friendly and fast service. High standards for cleanliness. The crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. Lots of happy people."
