"Visited on a Saturday night with a large group - open seating and order at the counter. Was quite busy but still plenty of open space. Ordered the brisket, mac & cheese, side salad, and fries - most everything was delicious! We found the mac & cheese to be average. Their BBQ sauces were very tasty! Also ordered a couple beer and enjoyed them. Not many vegetarian options. Would recommend for large groups and casual dining."

"This place is great for a friend gathering or just to enjoy a great meal and beer. They have indoor and outdoor seating and few seats in the bar. There is a good selection of draft beer (brewed by them) and the staff is great to help you choose if you have any doubt or need a sample. The food was delicious and a good sized portion. I tried the chipotle melt and the brisket was perfect; the chili on the side was also great. I visited this place after the California International Marathon and while it was packed, the service was fast and the staff was always courteous and helpful."

"Hands down one of the best barbecue and brews spots in all of Sacramento. They always have such delicious food and great beers in tap. During the summer they also have wine slushees that are a must try! This is a great place to meet up with friends and have a great time. The environment is super relaxed and chill. HIGHLY recommend!!!"

"Met up with a friend here after watching Oppenheimer. I am from out of town so I asked him to pick a place and he picked Urban Roots Brewery. The environment was laid back and open, staff was courteous and the food was incredibly delicious. Oh, and the prices were great too. I wish I had more time to study the menu, but once I saw that they make pulled pork sandwiches, I looked no further. I will definitely be bringing my wife here as she also loves going to brewery’s."
