"This restaurant is a 10! Outstanding service, beautifully played food with flavors that are out of this world! The restaurant location is ideal with lots of street parking. The atmosphere is sophisticated and the decor is gorgeous and sexy! Loved the cocktail and wine selection! Highly recommend the seafood tower or the meat boards. Loved the bananas foster cheesecake. And those rolls! Super soft and addictive! If you’re looking for a great restaurant to have a date or celebrate an anniversary, this establishment would be a great choice. This has to be by far one of the best restaurants I have been to in San Diego. So impressive!"

"We went to Rare Society a few months ago to celebrate our anniversary. Staff was very helpful and friendly. From the hosts to the bartenders who eventually took care of us , everyone was great. We were seated on the patio area but asked to be moved since the banquet seats had no back support and we’re very uncomfortable of you leaned back. The only spots they has available were at the bar. Bartenders were attentive and helped with recommendations. I ordered a scotch cocktail and a gin and tonic, both were great. We had the Mac and cheese which was awesome, crab cake was solid, sautéed mushrooms was good but we couldn’t finish it. Fillet was superb and the butter we ordered was fantastic."

"The service was great. However, the restaurant was SO loud it was overwhelming, it made the meal not worth it. I wouldn't come here again unfortunately because of how loud it was. We got the larger steak platter, and it was good. It wasn’t great though. And for over $180 I would’ve expected the steaks to be less gristly. It was a bit underwhelming, but a beautiful presentation. The butter cake was delicious, and so was the bananas foster cheesecake."

"Great dinner at the rare society! We ate delicious tuna tartare and lamb lollipop for starters, prime rib and branzino for an entrees, whipped potatoes, broccolini, and Mac and cheese for sides, and banana fosters cheesecake for dessert. The service was incredible, and we sat on the dog friendly patio. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of steakhouses!"

"We came here on a Sunday night as a group of six, and they were able to accommodate us all. We all had cocktails which were delicious, and split appetizers which were equally as good. The server was attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu she also came with a couple recommendations. The entrées were good I got the Denver which was delicious, and the rest kind of spread out with the different plates. As for those people that are saying it was too salty apparently they have never heard of a rub. It was all priced pretty well for a steakhouse which is always nice. I definitely will be back. If you are looking for a decently priced steakhouse for dinner and then this is it. I for sure recommend this place, but make sure you have reservations."
