"Our bartender was quickand we had an overall good time drinking beer and playing shuffle board UNTIL we went next door to Long Story Irish Pub. Why would this matter? They both have the same security/bouncer. I am absolutely appalled at my experience at Long Story Irish Pub. We were greeted with a disgusted bartender in a red cap - younger woman with brown hair. She looked at us without saying anything and just waited for us to order (it was still slow). We ordered our drinks and she demanded our IDs. No issue. We just moved from out of state two weeks ago. She immediately left with my ID to the bar next door. She came back a few minutes later with the security/bouncer from Catalina and stated I had an obvious fake ID. Im 28, I’m IDd occasionally and don’t have any issues with it but I’ve never had this happen. They couldn’t explain why they actually thought it was fake. The bouncer couldn’t explain why he thought my ID was fake, but he was clearly infatuated by the bartender enough to go along with her. They attempted to retain my ID unless I presented my passport. My passport?! I told them I’d be calling the cops for theft if they didn’t return my ID. I’d much rather have the cops confirm the validity of my license than some angry college bartender and a dude with a black light. Immediately they returned my card and said I was being rude and loud (because I demanded my license back?!) The security guy came next door from the same place we came from earlier where we had a few beers and played shuffle board before our dinner reservation across the street. They didn’t have an issue before but now suddenly did because of this clearly inexperienced bartender. Disgusted with the treatment we received. I welcome the owner/manager to reach out to confirm this. I’ll happily return with my same ID and additional identification or to simply meet an officer to scan and confirm the validity. Do better, be better. If you don’t like what you do, find a new job - she clearly hated having to be there. Respond with a solution and I’ll oblige."

"The Catalina Lounge has been our "football hang-out" for the last few weeks and we've had a BLAST. Speaking of Blast-From-The-Past" we found two of our favorite bartenders here Brie and Brandon working the football crowd. It was refreshing to see that they remember all of us as soon as we walked in (by name!!!!) and what was also awesome they remembered what we drank, talk about those two making us feeling special. The ambiance on Sunday's is football, football, fun, and good times. During half time my husband and his friend like to play pool and additionally they put out some good eats (for FREEEEEEEEEEE) - yesterday it was nachos, 7 layer dip, juicy full size hot dogs (not the cheapies) and some yummy cookies and cakes. I don't know any other bar that goes that far. If you enjoy your SunFunDays watching games with friends (or by yourself, people are extra friendly there) having a ice cold beverage of choice and a GREAT time head on over.....Thanks AGAIN Brie and Brandon- you gave 10 PLUS service yesterday, see you NEXT Sunday!"
