"I had a wonderful stand up paddle board lesson with Trudy. (Or Trudie, didn't catch the spelling). I had never been on a board before and the SUP Shack was the perfect place to start. I was nervous because I had an accident on a balance training board a year prior, and even though this was totally different and much safer, I started out a bit frozen. Trudy was very patient and taught me everything I needed to know to be standing with confidence 20 minutes later. 11/10 would recommend!"

"Perfectly located near the Crow's Nest at the lower end of the Santa Cruz Harbor. So you can paddle around and then grab some food and a drink afterward. The staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated our unexpected change in plans, and we were still able to paddle the harbor. Can't say it enough: the staff here are so helpful and kind. We had a great time. We'll definitely rent from SUP Shack Santa Cruz again."

"SUP shack is a wonderful place to rent a kayak. Prices are very reasonable, $30 for a single, $40 for a double and a extra $10 for each additional hour. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. Kayaking is only allowed within the the Santa Cruz harbor and within the woods lagoon, do keep that in mind if you believe you can take the kayak anywhere you please."
