"I had the opportunity to visit Tiana's Palace the day after it opened as I was in Disneyland for my 30th birthday. The location was obviously brand new enough that the mobile order pickup option was disabled periodically throughout the day, so if you wanted to try it out, you had to wait in line. Especially because it's so difficult to get restaurant reservations in advance for Blue Bayou, you can imagine my excitement that another Cajun/creole-inspired menu was to be offered at the parks that was hopefully more accessible! My sisters and I happened to be in the New Orleans Square area during lunch time and considering how long the line was when we passed the area around dinner time the night prior, we decided to take the chance and wait in line. Let me tell you - it was worth it for me!! We got through the line pretty quickly and there was plenty of seating available. They also had Tiana walking around the dining area greeting people in-character and it created such a nice welcoming environment! Regarding the food, it seems as though other peoples' reviews have had a spectrum of seasoning disappointments when it comes to the entrees, but I will say that was not the case for my experience! I ordered the Gulf Shrimp and Grits, and I have to say this is now quite possibly my favorite thing I have ever ordered in Disneyland - they really hit it out of the park with this one! The cheesy grits were good so well and had the most delicious flavor and smooth texture. Also, the shrimp were executed perfectly, so every bite paired with the grits left me wanting more and more! I did try a bite of the cornbread and it was pretty standard cornbread, so not anything to write home about but still enjoyable. Now, one item that I might say is worth trying would be the House-filled Beignet! It is filled with a lemon pie filling and dipped in a lemon glaze. It tasted bright and fresh! I would say maybe try it at least once, unless you're a Disneyland Beignet purist, in which case this may seem like a little bit too much of a departure from the classic deliciousness of a simple beignet from Mint Julep Bar or Royal Street Veranda. I would say, on the whole, that my experience at this restaurant will warrant another visit when I return to Disneyland this year!"
"Tiana's is located at Disneyland Park. You must have a ticket to get into the park where Tiana's is located. Most of the food at Disneyland is sub par or worse. This place is exactly what New Orleans Square in Disneyland needed. It is great. It is super clean and really pretty. They have great seating and the area is just super pretty. The service is very nice and we were so pleased with our server. Tiana's is much like a cafeteria. You can see what they have when you go in, you order and pay and they give you your food. Someone will check on you, but not always. You have everything you need. All of the food we had was exceptional. Their 7 greens gumbo is fantastic and is not too spicy. Their cornbread is fresh and super good. The lemon icebox beignet was so great. I would have had another, but did not want to be a hog. My grandson loved their mac and cheese, filled with good cheese and not made from a box. Their drinks were very good and we were just very happy campers. The prices are high, it is Disneyland and that is what they do. But, for food at Disneyland it is worth it and this will be a new place for us when we come back."
"Got to the park around 8am and by 11 we were hungry so we decided to head over to Tiana’s. At 11 there was hardly any wait. Tiana’s is cafeteria style, just walk over to a station, make your order and they will load it onto your tray. We ordered the chicken w/ man and cheese, gumbo and shrimp and grits. Side of cornbread / beignet. Paid then sat at one of their outdoor tables, plenty of seating. Service was ok. Gumbo was ok, strange color and constancy and pretty bland but somewhat edible. Shrimp and grits? Grits were on point, left the shrimp after taking a bite - no bueno. Cornbread, it was ok - took a couple of bites. Beignet? I would not order that again, took a bite and left the rest - probably the worst I’ve ever had. The star for me was the chicken w/ Mac and cheese, seasoned well, Uber juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese was also very good, tasty with a nice crunchy texture. I would highly recommend a visit to Tiana’s for the chicken and Mac and cheese."
"Cute place! The food though… mind you creole isn’t my favorite but I’ve had it in NOLA; this by comparison is average. All of it. The filled beignet was eh, lemon filling, glazed outside, cold and just maybe should be named something else. It was okay. The BBQ chicken was tasty, but did not fall off the bone at all. The gumbo was average and very smoky tasting. The mac is baked.. and a bit hard, not creamy at all. Coleslaw mayonnaise-y. The corn bread was good, dense and battery, not sweet… enough for 2. The muffuletta was good; but no match in flavor for its original in NOLA. The bread and the spread need improvement imo. The brisket was good. The sandwich was messy… consider eating it with a fork lol Tiana visited our table and she gets 5 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you mobile order; they pack everything into individual large plastic containers. Then into big plastic take out bags. I didn’t care for all that. I’ll go for a table reservation in the future."
"We were pleasantly surprised how short the line was. The location is super cute and cast member really nice. The food was fresh and tasty. The cornbread was so moist and delicious with little bits of real corn. The beignet was not very good. The muffaletta sandwich was pretty tasty and had lots of flavor. Everything was fresh. The only thing that sucked was the bread was a little soggy and the sandwich couldn’t decide if it was hot or cold so it’s kind of a lukewarm would’ve been better if it could’ve decided hot or cold the pickles are bread and butter pickles until that they’re freshly made. If you like bread and butter pickles they’re a must I’m not much of a fan 10 out of 10 would totally recommend checking it out. It’s not a very large menu, so should be easy to choose the mac & cheese looks like it was pretty good but a little bit crusty."
