"Wth happen!? 24 bucks for a drink!? That's crazy. This is a dive bar not a 4 star hotel. Calm down... you have bathrooms in worse conditions then some port o potties. No soap, no running water, clogged up toilets and graffiti all over the walls. You gave into Venturas plan on kicking out their long time locals and catering to the yuppies that visit here. Shame on you starbar!"

"Restrooms were out of toilet paper and mentioned it to a worker and he literally said we only have what's in there and don't have anymore. I then told the bartender and another worker working outside and they said it is what it is. Once we're out it's out. This was at 8:45pm on a Friday night. Absolutely disgusting to not provide an essential item for their customers. Each person in our group spent well over $20 each on drinks and therea bo toilet paper provided."

"Used to be a great stop for a beer or cocktail but it's changed & has no personality at all. Very sterile & empty of character, bar tender was clueless as to what empty beer glasses set up on the well meant. Walked by empty glasses on the well without asking if another was desired. After served first beer & hard cider while sitting at the bar she never asked us if another drink was desired. Proof of that was a nearly empty bar during a Dodger Game on a Saturday afternoon. Unheard of!! Too bad, used to be such a fun place."

"this is my favorite bar in Ventura. been going here for years. fun to watch sports there during the day or at night. miss the old pool table setup but the overall interior is miles better than how it used to be. at night it's a wild night club now and gets packed! friendly bartenders and good drinks, it's usually always a fun time."
