"Dropped in for some hard ciders after a week of camping next door and loved the place. The ciders were fantastic. The workers or owners we met were nice and I loved thet they had multiple payment options I clud9ng Venmo. The apple juice was awesome also! Would love to come back for a wine dinner."
"I love this place and stop in whenever I can in late summer and autumn for organic apples. They have a huge variety of organic heirlooms. Year round, they sell their homemade condiments, which make great gifts. My favorite is Apple, Walnut and Cherry Chutney."
"We have stayed at the Apple Farm once and stopped by the farm stand multiple times. It’s a really unique place in the Anderson Valley that I haven’t found a replica of anywhere else. If you’re considering a stay, just book it! You won’t regret it."
"A truly once in a lifetime experience! We had always dreamed of having our wedding at the Apple Farm and it was the best decision for us. From the land, to the food, to all of the flowers and details, everything was so intentional and beautiful. On the practical side, I really enjoyed not having to deal with multiple vendors, since they handle hosting the site, the food, and the meal. It all felt so seamless and we cannot rave about the Apple Farm enough. A true gem!"
"We had our wedding in 2019, and Philo Apple Farm was a perfect fit for us and our intimate wedding of ~45 guests! We absolutely loved the Apple Farm's sensibility and really appreciated its history as a multi-generational family-run operation. We wanted our wedding to be as stress-free as possible, which made their all-inclusive approach very appealing. We rented out the 4 cottages on site for our unofficial wedding party and ourselves and local Airbnbs for our families nearby for the duration of the weekend. There is a lot of care and charm to the place, but it's not fussy or trying too hard. Throughout the whole process, we really trusted that everyone at the Apple Farm was an expert in what they were doing. We intentionally had a very light hand on much of the decisions regarding food, flowers, and decor. Much of this was dependent on what was in season, and we were very happy with that. We opted for their "Roving Feast" option (no assigned table seating), which allowed our guests to roam around, play with the dogs or visit the goats, relax by the fire, and mix and mingle. A delicious variety of food was brought out throughout the night, and instead of a traditional cake, we went for their absolutely scrumptious strawberry shortcake. Everything was exactly what we had hoped for: good food, vibes, and company in a spectacular setting. Wouldn't have done it in any other way. Update: to this day (2023), our guests still rave about the wedding and the food! (We still dream about the strawberry shortcake alternative wedding cake.)"
