"This place is great! There's basically a front and back area that are separated by curtains (and different vibes). I have to admit that we only had some food and drinks at the back bar, Alter Ego Cocktail Club, which was amazing! The ambience is very upscale, dark hotel, which I really liked. At first I thought I would be entering into a speakeasy, but it was a little different. Again, this was good! Our server was great. The cocktails were great. The small bites were delicious. The whiskey selection was above average, which I enjoyed. From what interpreted, the front bar, which is styled in a nice oldies, record player vibe, is similar to what used to be there Original Gravity (O.G.). This is a place to go for a quick beer or cocktail, similar to a chill pub, but upscale. The back bar is more classy and should require reservations. I highly recommend it!"

"Two bars in one. Probably the poshest bar in San Jose. The bar at the front has a chill vibe with a typical SJ crowd that includes a DJ and disco lights. All of the drinks are batched, but still pretty good. Lovely day is balanced, refreshing, and nutty. The bar at the back is refined and expensive. Reservations are highly recommended, but open to walk-ins. Interesting drinks and cups. This is the first time I ever had a slice of black truffle in my drink, but the verdict is still out. Cool coasters in both of them. Good addition to SJ!"

"Freshly rebranded bar with an oldies theme. Loads of retro decorations including vinyl records, CD cases as beer menus, disco balls. Split into halves, the front is focused on draft cocktails, the back on craft cocktails. They have a limited food menu for now. Full stars for execution."
