"Super sad that a favorite is closing. 5 break-ins in a year + a 50% rent increase. Can’t blame them. Delicious beer. Quality folks. Great atmosphere. Pinball. If there was any way to keep this going I would be all in."

"Street parking only. Cozy atmosphere with lots of beers on tap. Love the Arcade games here. Staff are friendly. Dog friendly place. No food is being served here, so bring your own food. Snacks are available for purchase. There were no porters or stouts here."

"Their flagship beers, East Bay IPA and Town Beer kolsch are great. Especially the kolsch. The Cherry Kush is pretty good too. And they typically have some solid rotating/seasonal offerings as well. Also, it seems they have recently made an effort to make the space more comfortable and welcoming. They've rearranged the seating and tables, added more of them, and added a couch as well. Not to mention great place to catch an Oakland Roots away game. And they usually have a good food truck parked outside for games."

"Casey & Caleb were both great guys. My wife and I stopped by for the evening and had a great tasting flight. Friendly atmosphere, great beer, pinball in the back, go get yourself a brew, plenty to carry out too!"

"Big fan of this place, one of the best breweries in the East Bay. They have like a dozen different beers on tap, a nice pool table ($5/hr), and a great couple of dart boards. I've liked every beer here with my favorites being the East Bay IPA and the Uncle Jesse. There's always people here on the weekend and it's a great place to meet up with friends or even to do work during the day while drinking. They also often have visiting food vendors. One of the places that makes me love East Oakland for sure."
