"I recently moved to San Diego, and I had been looking for a new Tailor. A place to buy suits and shirts. I came to Joseph's after reading good reviews. After spending 10 minutes speaking to Joseph himself, I can say that it was my worst experience ever inside a clothing store. I'm very particular about my suits and shirts. I have a few that I got custom made. I came to Joseph's looking for a simple white dress shirt. Joseph was rude the whole time as I tried one of his shirts. I asked for a second one and he said "This shirt is $125 dollars, I doubt that is a shirt for you" I asked what do you mean, and he responded: "look at the price tag." I've never felt so insulted inside a Clothing store. I was willing to pay more than $125 for that shirt. He ignored that fact that I knew it was an Italian 100% cotton shirt well worth the price, it was a nice shirt. However I decided to take my money elsewhere to a place where the owner does not insult potential customers."

"Went there about seven months ago and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I hadn't bought a suit in years and needed one for a job interview. The owner was there and was rude, blunt, and made remarks about my weight that made me uncomfortable. Amongst the rows and rows of suits he had he basically said The store did not have my size but he could order one from Montreal and wanted me to put down a deposit for it, sight unseen. Did I mention that the cost was $1200? I knew I was being upsold. I thanked him for his time and made a note to not go in there again."

"I bought a suit a couple years ago OTR from Joseph's. I am 6'8" and he fit this perfectly. He also tailored a very cheap sportcoat that I had purchased online. He told me the suit would last a lifetime and it has every indication of doing so. It is extremely comfortable and looks great. There are few places in San Diego for tall clothing, I would go back to Joseph before trying anything else."
