Reviews of Goodwill Store & Donation Center
"Good variety of items. Employees are very friendly & helpful. Some of the items there are a bit too pricey for a thrift store."
"This store didn’t have hardly any quality products and their prices on things are too high. Additionally they are selling damaged goods and refuse to adjust the price at all. For example leather shoes with the dye rubbed off in certain areas, as well as the soles coming off, and sole and leather worn off at the front and the other shoe damaged but still full price. ALL long sleeves shirts are priced at $10 when they weren’t quality brands or condition to start off. ( I presume some who are struggling financially may tend to come to a store such as this to clothe themselves and their families. If someone is making minimum wage for example this location is charging almost the rate of 1 hour of work for a shirt that is used, in this case can be in bad condition, or is the same price or more than it actually retails for example at Walmart). One shirt had that wasn’t a high quality brand had a sown on necklace like design but it was missing stones and even chucks of the necklace and it was slightly faded but it still was $10 I asked is there even a slight price reduction the lady stopped, stared and angrily said all our prices are set then they put the damaged goods right back on the rack or shelves. Their prices should at least be adjusted if the item is clearly damaged, extremely faded or stretched out. Other locations also said they remove damaged goods from the floor and they already charged less for their merchandise. It seems like excessive greed especially when things are given to them to sell. Additionally, the workers should be polite and workers / management should reasonable and flexible."
"Good selection of jeans and helpful staff. But if you're not going to bring back the changing room, please consider providing a curtain in the women's area where I can try them on with tights. I keep thinking I'm skinnier than I am when I grab a pair..."
"The staff at this store is lovely! They are friendly and polite. They greet everyone that comes in. It is clear that this store is struggling. I frequent this location but it’s very quiet. I believe this is due to two main factors - 1) The donation hours are horrible. They only accept donations until 2pm. There is a very large Salvation Army that is a couple blocks away and they accept donations all day long. 2) The prices!! I believe in charging a fair price but it is also important to remove this is a thrift store. People are looking for a deal! Some items are fairly priced but others are ridiculous. It’s not uncommon to see glassware priced at $4 a glass. If you buy a set of $6, that is $24 which very comparable to what you could pay for new glassware. The shoes can be overpriced as well! I recently saw a pair of flat Target sandals for $11! These probably retailed for $20 new. The Salvation Army is only a couple blocks away and they’re packed all day long. I do wish this store would make some adjustments."
"It is very clean and lots of clothes. Parking is not bad. There is a couple parking spots on site. There is no furniture. Little selection of purses, backpacks and household items; Plates, cups and pans"
