Reviews of Billionaire Suits & Tuxedos
"After negotiating with Rafael, who promised a custom suit within 2 weeks left his tailors with no instructions to travel to another country. Although the workers were doing their best, the overall quality was low and any attempt to communicate with Rafael was met with silence. It was disappointing considering multiple payments were given to him and his wife, amounting to more than a thousand dollars after a month of waiting with no results until last minute."
"They Literally say yes to anything just get you to spend spend spend. Even after asking for about $1000 they asked for $400 more to "get materials". They are good at making you believe everything will be OK and will be exactly what you want. Till they take the money you give them and go to Paris the whole time you need them there to get your suit or dress. Careful they like to call the police and say you're a thief. Advice for dealing with people like Rafael and his wife, just don't fund their businesses of scams."
"Careful! April and her husband Rafael are scammers! My husband hired a suit and cape design for our wedding. They asked us for $850 in advance and promised it with a contract in 2 weeks. *We gave it a month and a half and the suit was never complete and they hadn't even started the cape* They took money from us and we lost crucial time so that my husband could still find his suit somewhere else. So we ended up reaching an agreement with the owner Abril, that they would give us what they had ready for the suit and that we wanted to cancel the cape, just days before the wedding. When we went for the suit and the refund, instead of apologizing to the groom, because we all understand that setbacks happen, or for having caused stress instead of a memorable experience by choosing his wedding suit; *I end up wanting to charge more, *I do not refund the money for the cape, *and I spoke to THE POLICE with the lie that we stole the suit without paying. *When the police arrived and saw the truth, Ana had to refund us the money since everything she and her husband did from the beginning was a lie. Only go with Rafael or Abril if you want to be around liars who try to ruin your event or want to deal with the police for something that is not your fault. 0/10 recommended Abri and Rafa are Scam!!"
"I also had a similar experience with them and I urge any who is looking to buy or customize their outfits to look else where. These owners/operators play fast and loose when explaining what will be due and when to be paid, confusing their patrons to scamming ever last dollar they can. Do your research and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!"
"I came to Billionaire Suits for my wedding. As a groom looking for the perfect fit, I was excited to meet the owner Rafael who was promising to get me the suit and custom designs that I wanted. This business deal started on August 26th with a deadline of September 30th. Rafael said the suit would be $600 and a cape that I described to him would cost an additional $900. I left a $500 deposit that day through Zelle. Over the next few days, the only messages I received from Rafael was to ask for another deposit of $350 for a cape and promising to send the design over which was being created by his wife, Abril, who has another business just around the corner. I gave this man ample time to create the product design and send me options for the materials, invite me back to the store to get the suit fitted but he was radio silent. I messaged him on September 16th, went into the store the following day and spoke to his associate named Esteban and followed up with another message on September 21st and again on September 26th. I then sent what I thought would be a final message asking for a refund on September 28th but Rafael finally replied promising once again that the suit and cape would be available the next day. It was not. While the suit was there, it still needed tailoring and the cape wasn’t even made. In fact, Rafael’s wife Abril had no idea about the project whatsoever but she made promises just like her husband to finish it. With my deadline approaching, I had no choice but to wait and see the final product. They made me wait until October 2nd to actually see any progress. But of course the jacket still needed fitting and the cape they finally made over the weekend was. Just. UGLY. It looked like someone’s mom made it for their kid for a Halloween costume. It looked more like a $9 cape than a $900 cape. I left the store just destroyed by how poorly I’d been treated by Rafael and Abril. I walked around the fashion district with my fiancé for about an hour before deciding that I just wanted my money back for the cape and I’d deal with the suit. Abril agreed and had me come back the next day so she could at least finish the customizations I originally asked for on the suit. Why did I agree to this? Probably because of how much time and money I already put into it but it was such a big mistake. When I met Abril on Oct 3rd, she gave me an invoice for $650 +tax which was far more than we originally agreed upon. Then, she asked me to pay the difference of the total for the suit ($713.38) and the $500 deposit before she would refund me my $350….Are you confused yet? Cause I’m still confused at why she would want me to pay her even more when she owed ME money. She refused to refund the entire thing and she also refused to refund at minimum the difference between my total deposits and her claim of how much the suit’s total value was. When I was ready to just leave with the suit, she threatened to call the cops and claim I was robbing them. Eventually, I’d had enough of arguing with her and just left with my suit and she did indeed call the cops who called me thirty minutes later. It didn’t take them long to figure out she was lying and owed me money from the whole dispute and they forced her to send me the remaining difference via Zelle. Don’t go here! They are scammers and will ruin whatever special day you have planned."
