"The four of us went here tonight for dinner. We were 25 minutes late but they seated us anyway. The parking lot looked pretty full but we managed to grab a spot. They had all our favorite Hot pot. Ingredients: shrimp paste, veggies, assorted tofu, a ginormous lamb and beef platter ring, etc. we really like the house special bone broth, but the spicy special House broth was pretty spicy. Service was really fast and efficient. Vibe was pretty young with club music playing in the background. We got a basket of deep fried pork which was apparently recommended but I was so full. I could hardly eat more than a few pieces. Overall great price would come here again.p"
"Good hotpot. The combination of beef and lamb has a great amount of meat, however, the taste is just okay. Some of other meat taste good. There are complimentary snacks at the front door for folks to pick while waiting. There are also complimentary food and fruit at the dip sauce station, sesame ball and fruits are good. The service was okay. We have 5 people but squeezed in a table for 4 people, which is a bit crowded. We called to reserve the table and they require everyone to show up before you can seat."
"An authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant where you can select different types of broths to cook your foods in, spicy or non-spicy. There are a huge variety of foods you can choose to cook in the hot pot. Our favorites are the lamb and beef as well as all the different veggies. The seafood selection is good as well. There are also unusual dishes such as duck blood and intestines. We also love their complimentary make-your -own dipping sauce bar and the fried sesame mochi balls. The service was good and the ambience is pretty nice. Overall one of the best Chinese hot pot places in the area."
"The signature LYS broth is too spicy. Medium spiciness is enough to sweat all over n nose bleeds. There are many interesting n fresh ingredient like beef aorta, abalon.. Should come with 4 otherwise its hard to order n broth is huge. Too much broth feels wasteful."
"The waiting list board provides a good communication with the guests on where your wait stands, but not clear on how long the wait might be. There are complementary snacks by the door and the cold water on the front desk for people waiting , which is really nice! This is our first time at this restaurant, it took us a while to figure out how everything works! We had to request the waiters several times using the pad. The waiters were very busy. So instead of explaining everything, they just placed orders for us. The menu doesn’t have clear descriptions on what the contents are. We end up ordered a single order of wood ear and a veggie combo which also has wood ear hidden under the other veggies. So the picture for the veggie combo on the menu doesn’t show the wood ear. The waiter who took order didn’t say anything. We were quite surprised to see so many wood ears when the food comes! The side bar ($5 each person) has 3 different appetizers , one fruit, and one dessert. Also varieties of dipping ingredients are available. The waiter put the order for us without telling us. So we have to ask what it is and where the side bar is. I guess we must have looked like a regular! For meat, we order the combo of lamb and beef. The types of meat on the menu mostly are for beef. Just as in veggie combo, it doesn’t state what kind of beef is included in the combo. The lamb is really good! The beef is good. I wish there are more choices of meat, eg. chicken! The complementary tea is pretty good!Overall experience is nice!"
