"I picked out a dozen Christmas cards that said, they were 2 for a dollar, and when I got to the register, they charge me a dollar a piece and the manager lady, even though I showed her, the sign is right on the rack, she said. "Oh well, the Hallmark person that stocked that shelf left a little note somewhere saying that some are 50 cents and some are a dollar, so there" and then she walked away."
"41st Ave Dollar Tree was the best I've ever seen it! Wow, the shelves were fully stocked and there weren't and boxes in the isles. Good job"
"The employees and manager, Alexander, are extremely rude and unprofessional. There is no clearly displayed policy anywhere in this store, or any store, at the register, on the doors, no where on any items, as being final sale. When trying to ask about the options and have a conversation with anyone about this, they refused and put their hand up turned and walked away. Manager refused to even talk to me initially, took three employees to go and get him before he would come talk to me. Very disrespectful and walked away any time I asked another question. I was quite reasonable and respectful, and was treated very unkindly and unprofessionally. No one would not offer me any other local phone number or even the name of their district manager, when asked directly, or work with me in any way. When Alex the manager finally did come talk to me, he spoke at me for 30 seconds, did not listen, and then sat in the office for 10 minutes. He came out and shoved a paper in my face with some 800# saying to “contact the legal department. They’re somewhere in the phone tree I’m sure you can figure it out.” And stormed off. I came here last night to get emergency first aid supplies for an animal that had been abused by someone and thrown out of their car. I bought extra of all the items just in case, and did not end up needing everything. I purchased these items 16 hours prior. I had a receipt, nothing has been opened or damaged. They did not have other items that I could utilize in exchange. But that wasn’t even offered, just refusal to accept any items back. The refusal to have a conversation in any way, then rudely making a scene when asking for contacts above his level is completely unacceptable and inappropriate. If he truly couldn’t do anything, he would provide this information instead of walking away and denying me any further assistance. This is ridiculously rude behavior and Alex has no business being a manager or in a customer facing role. He told me his job was to enforce store policy, which if that is in fact in his employee manual, Dollar Tree needs to rethink their business model. I have returned items to Dollar Tree before, without incident or such abhorrent behavior, so this policy is new or is specific to these stores. One last thing, their name should be $1.25 Tree, because nothing is $1.00."
"This Dollar Tree is nice, neat and small. It dosent have any refrigerated or frozen food. The checker was polite and friendly. I easily found the Tyme I was looking for, along with some snacks. They have plenty of parking and of course wheelchair and handicapped access. It is basically the same except for more masks, more distance, higher prices, and less stock on the shelves."
"This is my favorite Dollar Tree. The store is clean and well organized (for a $store), and they have a great Craft and holiday section. I can get most of what I need here- I just bought a bunch of fluffy socks and they're awesome. If you need kitchen stuff, toiletries or need party supplies, come here first! There's no reason to pay more than a dollar...esp these days. Thanks dollar store for making my life pop on my budget!"
