"Santa Cruz/East Cliff has had some challenges in past, but I’ve noticed the current staff has really been trying their best to keep the store tidy and stocked. There are a lot of crafty finds and stocking stuffers this time of year ( it is constantly turning over its stock so grab it when you see it)! The managers I’ve asked for assistance have alway gone above and beyond to be helpful. Only giving 4 stars instead of five because lines can be very long, even when staff do seem available to jump in. Overall, retail is not an easy job these days so bring your neighborly courtesy and patience and you’re sure to be satisfied with the Dollar Tree deals."

"CAN’T TAKE CART OUTSIDE - I’m never going back to this store. When I finally get to the cashier drenched in sweat after getting an intense hot flash while waiting in a long line (only 1 employee was handling the cash registers in middle of afternoon) not feeling well due to chemo-onset-anemia, I pack my own bags to minimize the time at register, thinking of all the customers still in a long line and then… “by the way, you are not allowed to take the cart outside. You have to leave it by the door while you come and go for your merchandise” (just so happened to have very heavy items) “Not even for the handicapped?” I asked. “No”, she replied. So, ya, that is stupid and I’m no longer patronizing this place."
