"I had a horrible experience at this Safeway recently. Devon, the front end manager was completely rude during my last couple visits. My last visit I asked him to bag my items up for me, and for some reason he was pissed and threw my receipt at me when he was finished bagging. The receipt hit me and he tried to act like it was nothing. I’ve never felt some disrespected from buying groceries ever. Seems like Safeway is letting anyone work in there stores. I have tried calling and going in asking for management, to no avail."

"After returning home from shopping, I noticed that I was overcharged for a beef chuck pot roast which was on sale for $22.00. I was charged $52.00., the original price. During my lunch break, I returned to the store and was quickly and professionally offered a refund for the difference by Kelly. After work, I decided to go thru my receipt carefully and found I was overcharged for multiple items, including a pork roast that i was charged $20.00 over the sale price. I again returned to the store with the groceries and I was informed I was the 3rd person that morning to come in complaining of being overcharged. I was refunded the difference, but this time the customer service agent, Tashi, acted like she was unaware of any issues, even suggesting I didn't use Safeway app correctly. The meat wasn't on sale through the app. When I asked about the price difference guarantee, she told me I couldn't prove that I used the app to get the correct sale prices. She did finally give me a $5.00 discount card. In total, i was overcharged $66.00 for my groceries on a $230 bill. Check your receipts! By the way, the cashiers are great and this is in no way their fault. It was an error in entering sale prices in the register. Mistakes happen, but the customer service department shouldn't be blaming the shopper!"
