"We have reservation at 8:00 pm. We arrived in time but were told we have to wait. We wait until 8:30 to be seated, 8:40 we ordered and they told us due to high volume. We can not order food but tasting menu only. Fine. and until 9:07,there was no food. In addition, a waiter came and asked to take order?? What? You said only tasting menu and we have ordered!! While I am waiting I can't bear more and writing this review. This is valentine day, we drive from South Bay to here. Worst experience ever. Ridiculous the waiter explained as he was asking for anything to drink? Without you ever provide a drink menu?? Be alert! Never go here for your important day."
"It’s really not worth the $. We had sushi experience ($150 -$200 per person). We spent $400+ last night… the sashimi were pre-cut. Chef took out a plate with plastic cover, all sashimi were cutter… he just put it onto everyone’s plate.. really??? Chef has some hiccup of introducing his own meal… not sure if it’s nervous? Or it’s the new dish for him….? The room deco is very mediocre. The bar table is too big that we are away from chef, doesn’t have the ideal initiate experience watching him work (he is not working very much anyways..) the music is louder than it should be.. the light is dim but has no focus.. I have spent $100 fixed courses per person in the same area, but way better meal (from food itself to service, and vibes…) for example: Italian, French, other Japanese places… I am sorry that me and my partner were very disappointed."
"Solid 4.5 stars, great food with good vibes and service! Everything we got was very good. I loved the uni dish and the black cod with clams. Will definitely go back again. Rounding down to 4 stars as I thought the portions could be better."
